It has been observed that a considerable number of PhD holders in science and engineering in this region remain unemployed for extended periods. Many are employed in companies or schools that are not directly engaged in research, yet they remain eager to pursue it. Additionally, some individuals, despite lacking formal educational degrees, demonstrate remarkable talent in science and engineering. Universities and research institutes in the country generally require formal educational qualifications to join and pursue research. As a result, many capable individuals are excluded from opportunities. Furthermore, a significant number of women scientists discontinue research mid-career due to various personal and professional reasons. Our objective is to provide support to such individuals, enabling them to undertake part-time research work and continue contributing to knowledge creation. One of our flagship projects is to support these researchers by providing essential research facilities and affiliations, thereby allowing them to pursue their work meaningfully. In addition, the trust will organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to create platforms for knowledge exchange, skill development, and collaborative research. These activities will serve as catalysts for building a vibrant scientific community and for connecting independent researchers with established institutions.
